Grantmaking
Description
Improves the quality of life in our communities where Nordson facilities are located by improving educational outcomes that enable individuals to become self-sufficient, active participants in the community. Other major giving categories are human welfare, civic affairs and arts and culture.
Eligibility
Makes grants only to tax-exempt organizations, as defined in Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, based in geographic areas where Nordson facilities and employees are located — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin. Generally, the Foundation makes grants directly to recipient organizations and does not participate in fundraising activities.
