State of Emergency in the North

This webinar was hosted in partnership with the Jewish Community Foundation San Diego. With more than 70,000 Israelis displaced from their homes in the north for over a year, and a now constant rocket and drone barrage, the situation in the north of Israel and for its residents is dire. Charlene Seidle, CEO of the Leichtag Foundation/Impact Cubed, and activists and municipal leaders provided an an up-to-the minute briefing.

This week, we heard from Liat Cohen Raviv, founder of ‘Matzpinim,’ a forum with over 2,000 members driving social change in northern Israel, Anat Danis, head of the philanthropy desk of Israel Rises, and Giora Salz, Chairman of the Upper Galilee Regional Council.
