Sivani’s House is an interactive exhibit experience telling the story of Sivan Elkabets and her partner Naor Hassidim, who were two of the more than 1200 people murdered on the Black Sabbath of October 7, 2023. Sivani’s House was created by her family, her loving parents Anat and Shimon and her three siblings, as a way to process their grief and their need to share Sivan and Naor’s lives and stories.
We are honored to host Sivani’s House for its first time outside of Israel. Please join Impact Cubed, the Lawrence Family JCC, and Jewish Federation of San Diego at a special opening event. We will be honored by the presence of Anat and Shimon and their three surviving children, and also joining us from Israel will be the immediate past CEO of Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council Lior Niski and Sha’ar Hanegev’s head of international relations Maia Ifrah who will reflect on their experiences leading the devastated region from this crisis.
As we approach the one-year commemoration of the October 7th attack, this is a unique opportunity to gather in community, supporting our sister region of Sha’ar Hanegev and grassroots efforts to repair and rebuild throughout Israel.
