Consulting and Facilitation

Impact Cubed consultants offer time-tested skills to support private and family foundations with their priorities. We can:

  • Organize and facilitate board, family or community meetings and retreats.
  • Create foundation governance strategy and materials.
  • Facilitate research and needs assessments to inform grant strategy.
  • Facilitate interest area needs assessments, data analysis, and learning opportunities.
  • Facilitate family charitable priority assessment, synthesize results to develop mission statement, grant guidelines and strategic giving plans.
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate grantmaking programs based on learnings.

Once visionary funders commit to changing the conversation around a community challenge, working with other donors can broaden and deepen impact. Giving together requires shared goals, utilizing significant capital, and continually assessing progress.

We manage and administer shared funds, and provide fiscal sponsorship for new initiatives that stem from collective work. We offer the following:

  • Support funders’ learning and identify opportunities for change.
  • Connect donors with like-minded funding partners.
  • Help develop collective goals, strategies, and metrics.
  • Foster communication to build relationships and trust.
  • Manage collective giving, including nonprofit outreach; requests for proposals; funding decisions; and processing grants.
