Escalation in the North

Tens of thousands of Israelis from the north of the country had their towns and kibbutzim suddenly turned into closed military zones on October 7. Most have not been able to return and have no idea when they will be able to do so. Meanwhile, the situation is escalating and the needs are compounding with little government support or communications. We will share a real-time briefing from the ground on the sharply escalating situation, key philanthropic needs and emergency preparedness.

We are hosting monthly conversations so you can hear directly about the evolving situation on the ground, from the ground. Register for the next one here.

Each update includes briefings followed by grassroots leaders in conversation with Charlene Seidle, President and CEO of Leichtag Foundation and Impact Cubed.

This week, we heard from Sigal Yaniv Feller, executive director of Jewish Funders Network Israel, and Anat Danis, head of the philanthropy desk of Israel Rises.
