Through the looking glass: our season in review
After a year and a half of postponing face-to-face in-person events, we brought our community back for the entirely new Shabbat by the Sea series over the fall. It was a special and unique experience with different speakers each time that brought different perspectives. Through the lens of Shabbat, these events talked about Sukkot and social justice, LGBTQ+ experiences, and Latinx Jewish traditions. We give gratitude to our speakers, Nate Looney, Trudy Morse, and Analucía Lopezrevoredo, for showing us new pathways of Jewish expression.
As the cold brought us indoors, we experimented with an opportunity to celebrate Chanukah safely. We’re happy to see that our incredible Paint & Sip experience fulfilled that desire! Look through the album below to get a broader story of our events.
